Please join us for the 8th annual Amici di Bologna Symposium and Celebration in Washington DC from 5:30pm to 10:30pm on Saturday, October 10th, 2015. This year, we we clelbrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of SAIS Europe at Bologna with a special event which will be hosted at the Italian Embassy in Washington DC.
Our program begins at 5:30pm with our Syposium featuring Alumna Mary Kissel, member of the WSJ Editorial Board with SAIS faculty members Mark Gilbert, Deborah Brautigan and John McLaughlin. Seats will be reserved for sponsors and holders of Buoni Amici and Ottimi Amici tickets.
At 6:30pm, our reception with premium bar service and served hors d'oeurves begins. Our silent auction will open at this time as well.
Dinner will be served at 7:30pm. The silent auction closes at 10:pm and the evening concludes at 10:30pm.
The location of the traditional After Party will be announced closer to the event.
Our special guests will include Johns Hopkins University President Ron Daniels, Professor Michael Plummer, Director of SAIS Europe and Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero, Italy's Ambassador to the US. Come join your fellow Bolognese and all SAIS alumni for this special evening. A limited number of discounted tickets are available to recent SAIS Europe, SAIS and Nanjing Center graduates (classes of 2012 - 2015) on a first-come, first-serve basis.
